posted May 25, 2011, 7:07 AM by Chris Banard   [ updated Aug 23, 2011, 3:52 PM ]

Parents, please assist us and take a very short survey which will provide information to the Lamorinda Alcohol Policy Coalition. The Lamorinda Alcohol Policy Coalition is provided by the Center for Human Development. The Coalition brings community members together who are concerned about underage drinking in Lamorinda and want to work together to reduce access to alcohol and change norms in the community. Taking a moment to fill out this survey will provide the Coalition with valuable information and will help us to move closer to our goal of reducing underage drinking in Lamorinda. Click here to take the survey. Thank you very much. If you have any questions, please contact Jaime Rich Zaffanella at

Buy a Vespa Scooter and Support Campo Athletes. For the past three years the Campo Sports Boosters have held a fund raising raffle with the winner getting a choice of a shiny new red Vespa scooter or a cash prize. Every year the winner has chosen the cash prize and we'd like to find a home for the Vespa scooter. It's a 2008 Vespa LX 150 scooter and it only has 72 miles on it. It's basically brand new and has been stored in a garage since it was purchased. We are accepting bids for the vespa. The highest bid that comes in by May 31 will receive the vespa. If you have questions please contact Ernie Furtado at or 925-876-4433 All proceeds from the sale of the scooter will go directly to support Campo sports programs.

Support Campo: State education funding is down 22% for our high school--that equals lost revenue of $1,315 per student a year. And, going forward, additional funding cuts are likely. MEF donations funded $400,000 in programs and services at the high school this school year. Campo needs your help to continue to fill the funding gap to pay for teachers, support staff, AP courses, and department grants for next year. Please donate to the MEF May Campaign today. Donations at every level make a difference. Go to

Mac Reynolds Golf Tournament

posted Mar 23, 2011, 7:57 AM by Chris Banard   [ updated May 25, 2011, 7:06 AM ]

The 9th Annual Campolindo Football Mac Reynolds Golf Tournament and Auction Fundraiser is scheduled for Monday May 9, 2011, at the Moraga Country Club. The golf tournament and live/silent auction that follows is the major fundraising event of the year for the Cougar Club, whose purpose is to raise money to support the Campolindo Football program (varsity, JV, and freshmen). The dinner and auction will be held right after the golf event at the Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church located at 1700 School Street in Moraga. You may sign-up as a solo player and we will pair you with other players or you may sign-up as a twosome, threesome or foursome. The golf format is a scramble style - so no matter how good or bad your golf game, you will have fun. This is a wonderful opportunity to spend time with the coaches and other parents, both on the golf course and at the casual dinner/auction that follows. If you can't join us to play golf, please come by for the dinner and auction. We are also looking for auction items that you would be willing to donate. Sports tickets, dinners, wine, parties at your house, or any other creative ideas you have are welcome.
