Campolindo High School Emergency Plan
The emergency plan at Campolindo is based on third period classes. In the event of an emergency where evacuation of the school buildings is necessary, all students and staff will evacuate to the stadium field and bleachers.
The location of students will be with their third period teacher. Students will be accounted for and taken care of. Information will then be delivered to the community by the principal or designee. We will have various teams of staff working in other capacities to maintain safety throughout this process.
The proper authorities will be notified if necessary (fire department/police/ etc.). If these agencies are needed, upon their arrival on campus all direction will be taken from those authorities. The principal, or designee will notify the community of what is happening.
Parent pick up of students will be based on the specific nature of the evacuation. If the nature of the problem is short-term, students may be capable of going back to class. Decisions will be made at that time and by the proper authorities.
Parents need to pay close attention to their email (via Constant Contact, our email host). Parents should not come to the school or drive into parking lots looking for their students, as they could inhibit the safety process.
