CampoLands 2021: Tickets on Sale this Week!

CampoLands 2021 is the reimagined Senior Prom/Grad Night celebration and we are extremely grateful that we are able to bring friends together to celebrate with their peers! All seniors are encouraged to attend and the “Save the Date” invite distributed to seniors this week outlines the theme (an outdoor music festival) along with some of the activities.

This is a seniors-only event that will be organized and managed by volunteers on the Campolindo Campus. The event will be held on Saturday, May 15th from 4 pm to 8:30 pm. Attire for the event is casual formal (short dresses, khaki pants, sneakers) to formal (you decide!). The ticket price will be $125 per person.

Activities include a catered dinner, DJ’s and music, inflatables and games, along with some surprise entertainment. Students will be divided into three or four cohort groups and move through campus with their group to experience a series of decorated, themed areas. More information will be provided in the coming weeks for students to pick friends they would like to be with for the event.

Tickets can be purchased via the Campolindo webstore beginning Tuesday, April 20th and will close on Friday, April 30th. Given the current (and ever changing) Contra Costa County guidelines for outdoor events, advance registration is highly encouraged to assist in the planning and organization that needs to go into such an event. Student safety and community responsibility are paramount in this process and therefore, health screening clearance will be required at check-in, as well as mask wearing, distancing and frequent hand washing throughout the event.  There will be no option to buy tickets after the April 30 deadline or at the door.

While the hope is that Contra Costa County Guidelines will shift further towards full opening, at this time we are planning on a maximum of 75 students per cohort. As volunteers continue to monitor and work with through the guidelines, please keep informed of any updates via the weekly Campo CPC newsletter, the Campo Class of 2021 Facebook page and ask students to monitor emails through Canvas from Ms. Webb-Peploe regarding ALL senior activities.

Senior Memory Boards - Due to CAMPO May 3-5

If you would like your student’s memory board displayed for students to see, they are due back to campus May 3-5. We will have boxes set up (alphabetically by last name) outside the main office. Please drop there! Also please make sure your students name is on the BACK of the frame so you get it back!  Need instructions? (See attached file) Need a memory board? Email Denise Duff   denise.duff@hotmail.com.

Senior Breakfast - Thank you!

We hosted three successful breakfasts this past week. A big THANK YOU to the volunteers for organizing, setup/take down, delivering balloons and serving burritos, the senior leadership kids for decorations and music, the administration for their support, the students who made it (thanks for waking up early!) and most of all to Town Bakery Cafe who provided delicious breakfast burritos and chocolate chip cookies and coffee for the early morning volunteers. If you have not yet checked out Town Bakery Cafe in Moraga - give it a try and thank John for his support of the Class of 2021!

Welcome to Senior Year!

We had fun seeing all the students come through for the Senior Drive Through
Celebration on August 9. If your student would like a Senior T, mask and/or car
paints and have not yet received them, please reach out to Denise Duff
(denise.duff@hotmail.com). We would like to get them out of our garages to every kid in 2021! Free – while supplies last!

We know as much as you do about what Senior year will look like – wish we had a crystal ball! Your Senior Class Leadership, Class Advisors and Administration are working on plans to continue to celebrate the Class of 2021, all while keeping students safe and healthy. It is not the start that we all wanted, but we remain hopeful.

What can you do?
1) Share your ideas: We are looking for creative ways to “gather” and create
community. While we many not be able to execute them all, we certainly
welcome all ideas!
2) Stay informed and make sure your “circle of friends” are informed. Follow us
on Facebook: @CampoClassof2021; Instagram: @CampolindoClassof2021
and Campo Parents Club Newsletter (found on Campolindo web site).
3) Volunteer, donate and be POSITIVE. Unchartered territory here and we are
doing our best to make this a memorable year for ALL our seniors and will
need your help along the way!

Be well. Feel free to reach out to any of us if you have questions.

Where Do the Class of 2021 Funds Go?

Money earned from our fundraising efforts support social activities for our class throughout all four years, with the largest portion of the funds being used toward reducing the costs of Senior Ball (which we have already begun working on!) Funds raised will also go toward most of our Senior year activities including Senior Breakfast, Senior BBQ, Senior/Faculty Softball BBQ, Senior Parent Night, Flowers for every senior for Baccalaureate (Senior Reflection), Senior Ball (venue, caterer, decorations, band and transportation), as well as Senior Awards.

Your generous support is greatly needed and appreciated!
