Grad Nite 2012

Oh the Places You'll Go, When You Wish, Dreams Come True

Q. What do these three things have in common?
A. They are all themes of past Grad Nites.

Grad Night 2012 THEME SELECTION! Please join us this Thursday, June 2nd at 7:30pm in the P.E. room to discuss ideas for next year's theme. It's finally our turn and we will be deciding on our theme that night. So, do come to this important meeting to share your suggestions and rock the vote! Because, basically, if you're not there and the majority votes on "Setting Sail for Smurfalicious Adventures," you'll have no one to blame but your Big Blue Self, now will you? Be there or be BLUE in oh so many ways!

Graduation Gift -give the gift of time by volunteering at this year's Grad Nite festivities. Junior Class parents have embraced this tradition for years. We especially need help with Take Down. Work hours are flexible and there is no dress code. Work for 1 hour, 2 hours or even 5 hours. Men are especially needed. Get the word out to your friends, spouse, relative or an alumni. Did I mention this is a Junior Class tradition? Let the clicking begin www.signupgenius.com

We are currently looking to staff the Co-Chair positions as well as several Area chairpersons for Grad Nite 2012. Time is of the essence, as we need the Co-Chair position filled prior to graduation. It's important to note that there are plenty of jobs of all kinds, from creative to administrative, left-brained to right-brained and everything in between. Truly, there's something for everyone! Plus it's a lot of fun to be involved with other parents in this "last hurrah" for our upcoming Seniors. As we go forward with our planning, we also welcome your feedback on what aspects of Grad Nite are most important to you. We may want to consider streamlining, but we want to be sure to keep the key elements. Also, if you would like to submit ideas for theme consideration, let us know. Previous Grad Nite themes are posted here as well, dating back to 1986 -- Wow, 25 years of Grad Nite! It's fun to see "Oh the Places We've Gone" over the years! Don't miss out on important Class of 2012 news and announcements! Recently, we learned that some of our class parents are not receiving our email news. To make sure that you are included on our distribution list, please take a moment to scroll down to the bottom of the bulletin and in the "Constant Contact" section in white, click "Update Profile/Email Address" and then follow the directions. Just because you receive the bulletin, does NOT mean that you are on our class email distribution list. With Senior year upon us, it will be more important than ever to stay connected! We look forward to keeping you in the loop on all of the exciting events we have planned!

A HUGE thank you to all who supported the Football Concessions Fundraiser hosted by the Junior Class at our final home game. We have incredibly supportive parents, boosters and students -- from those who worked that night to those who generously donated and everyone else who just came out to the game hungry! Thanks to you, it was our most successful year ever!

Campo Volunteer Sign-ups - Football Game Concessions - 11/5/10
Campo vs. Las Lomas

The Class of 2012 is looking forward to hosting the Football Concession Stand once again -- it's our biggest fundraising activity of the year! Last year, we were very fortunate to have 100% of our concessions items donated, therefore ALL of our profits went directly to our Class of 2012. We still need a few more donations ...

Football Concessions Donation Summary

OR, if you prefer to make a cash donation, please send a check (payable to CHS) to Charlotte Perkins 1251 Rimer Dr. Moraga, CA 94556.  Suggested donation $25 -- any amount appreciated!

We will also be selling our Junior class logo items at the game. This would be a great time to pick up that stadium chair you've been wanting!

Special Deal: Purchase a stainless steel water bottle and we will fill it with a free "bottomless beverage" for the evening.

As always, we appreciate your generous support!

Go Cougars!
