Class of 2020 Parents

Keep checking this page for updates! Please take a look at the below information.

Each week, through the end of the school year, we have planned a "C" themed activity - some virtual and some that will magically appear on your doorstep. All are designed to cheer up and cheer on our seniors. We cannot replace the in-person events they will not be experiencing but we can try to raise their spirits through small and, hopefully, meaningful gestures.

This week it's all about building and supporting "C"ommunity! Read on for more details of what's happening.

The community RED OUT, started April 20th! We want to see a sea of RED throughout the community, and to help you and your senior get in the spirit, we are delivering a special seniors-only Red Out Kit to your home later this week. Also included will be your senior's Memory Board and instructions for assembling.

Although our seniors are struggling, there are people in the greater community also experiencing hardship. Here are a few ways you can help others who have also been impacted.

AUHSD FOOD DRIVE: We have teamed up with the other 3 schools in the district to rise up and make a difference. Starting today, we will be collecting food and raising funds for the Food Bank of Contra Costa. The need at food banks has increased dramatically and the supply chain is tight. Here's how to help:
  • DONATE FOOD - Barrels are available for canned and packaged food drop off in front of the Campo MUR. Here is a list of most needed foods. No glass please. Please respect social distancing when you are dropping off at the barrels.
  • DONATE MONEY - Monetary donations make an even bigger difference. To donate click here
Please help if you can!

Dear Parents and Students of Class of 2020:

Communications these past few weeks have been focused on the shift to distance learning and student health and wellness.  However, we want to assure you that Campolindo Class of 2020 Parent Advisors, Campo Parents Club, Student Leadership and Administration have been working behind the scenes to figure out the best plan moving forward for all year-end events. Our goal is to adjust as necessary and preserve as much as we can without incurring undue financial liabilities for the Class. This includes: Senior Ball, Time of Reflection, Graduation and Grad Night. We are also working with other AUHSD schools and Admin to coordinate these events and communications, but with things changing so quickly, announcements regarding “what’s happening” at each school may be staggered.

One thing we do know for sure: our district is committed to some type of graduation.  We don’t know yet what it will look like or when it will be, but we will figure it out and celebrate these amazing students!

We appreciate your patience, your ideas and your support, as we likely make some difficult decisions moving forward. We will need you ALL to help make this difficult time as special as we can for our Seniors!  Please continue to read the Campo CPC Bulletin for the most current information.

Where Do the Class of 2020 Funds Go?

Money earned from our fundraising efforts support social activities for our class throughout all four years, with the largest portion of the funds being used toward reducing the costs of Senior Ball (which we have already begun working on!) Funds raised will also go toward most of our Senior year activities including Senior Breakfast, Senior BBQ, Senior/Faculty Softball BBQ, Senior Parent Night, Flowers for every senior for Baccalaureate (Senior Reflection), Senior Ball (venue, caterer, decorations, band and transportation), as well as Senior Awards.

Your generous support is greatly needed and appreciated!
